How to Care for Your Copper Jewellery
Most items are coated with a double layer of hypoallergenic sealant to minimise tarnish over time. It's best to avoid prolonged water contact — remove your piece before swimming, bathing or washing up. The occasional splash is fine; just dry it with a soft cloth. Store in a dry place away from humidity for the longest-lasting shine. A gentle polish with the complimentary cloth included with your order keeps pieces looking their best — once a month at minimum, or every two weeks if you wear it regularly. Because I work with copper-based metals, some wearers may notice a slight green tint on the skin over time. It's a completely normal and harmless reaction that simply depends on your individual skin chemistry, so it varies from person to person. It wipes away easily and won't damage your jewellery. Keeping your piece dry and well-sealed with regular polishing helps minimise it.
